ASM Drinks Alone / Pours One Out For Good Ol' 2017

2017 got a bad rap.

Sure, we lost Chuck Berry, Chris Cornell, Walter Becker, Glen Campbell, Gregg Allman, John Wetton, Al Jarreau, Clyde Stubblefield, Col. Bruce Hampton, Gord Downie, and David Cassidy, but it wasn't all bad, was it?

Maybe it was. Maybe we're still stung from 2016. But in the grand tradition of our forebears, let us not dwell on the holes that remain in our lives with the loss of the likes of cultural giants Adam West and Della Reese, but rather give thanks to the joy their lives brought us, by drinking – alone.

And so it is with solemnity and introversion that ASM presents an intimate evening of solo works, accompanied by solo drinks:

PAT MUCHMORE - excerpts from Fr.XII for scordatura cello

KAMALA SANKARAM - Ololyga for solo voice

CHARLES WATERS - selections from "Particle Book Two" for solo clarinet
